Essential cookies (always)
When you sign in, two cookies are set to keep your session open (an access token and a refresh token). Membership does not work without them; they are not used for tracking or advertising. Your cookie preference, too, is stored only on your own device (in your browser's storage).
Consent-based cookies
The following only take effect if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2). If you choose “Essential only”, these cookies are not set; ads may still appear, but they are not personalised.
- Google AdSense (advertising): to show ads, limit how often they appear and, if you have given permission, personalise them to your interests. How Google uses data: Google partner sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings.
- Google Analytics (measurement): to see, in aggregate and anonymously, which pages are read.
Changing your preference
With the “Cookie preferences” link at the very bottom of the page, you can reopen the banner and change your decision at any time. You can also delete all cookies from your browser settings.
